Subject to the availability of our volunteers within your area, the Rebel Legion UK are always happy to attend events as volunteers at the invite of both large and small organisations, corporate or individual groups within the UK. As one of our key focuses is charitable fundraising, we ask to either be allowed to fundraise ourselves at events, or alterately that a prior agreed charitable donation for our attendance is made to an agreed registered UK charity, the value which you may choose. As we are a volunteer group, details of our (minimal) group requirements are agreed beforehand.

Disclaimer - Please note : Rebel Legion members adhere to a code of conduct at events to ensure that everyone has fun and enjoys the event. Rebel Legion UK reserve the right to cancel attendance of the group at events, with prior notice (usually two weeks), should agreed terms of attendance not be met, in the event of unforseen circumstances, should attendees become unavailable or for any other substantial reason. In the event of this, the Rebel Legion UK will not be held liable for any associated expense for reasons of our non attendance. Costs or losses incurred to costumed characters due to damages to their costumes or props through malicious or accidental damage, other than 'everyday wear and tear', must be met by the 'hiring' organiser who will be held liable and will liase directly with the individual/s themselves to resolve this (not the club). To the extent permitted by law, Rebel Legion members and their staff are not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage suffered by you or by any third party as a result of our attendance at any event organised, promoted and/or advertised by you. Event organisers should ensure that adequate public liability insurances are provided prior to their event taking place and our attendance.

Rebel Legion UK are part of 'Docking Bay'. Docking Bay is the meeting place for costuming and fan group organisers with shared aspirations and attitudes.

The aim is to help co-ordinate joint troops and social meets between the various organisations that make up the Docking Bay collective, whilst each organisation maintains their own independence and identity. It exists to allow command teams from each group the chance to organise and co-ordinate events and activities with other groups.

Groups within the Docking Bay collective hold several common values important: we believe in having fun whilst out trooping and meeting. We present a friendly and welcoming attitude to fellow fans and the general public. As costumers and cosplayers, we believe in giving the best performance we can to the public, and take pride in our costumes - maintaining and improving where we can. Above all it is about presenting a “United Front” within Star Wars fandom.

The Docking Bay initiative began in 2007 when the Commanding Officers of three groups, The 99th Imperial Garrison, Rebel Legion UK, Milton Keynes Garrison and Fan Force United Kingdom: North, found that their respective organisations shared much in common. Along with these three already-established founding members, it is hoped that other smaller groups will find support along with a voice and a place on the convention and social scene of Star Wars fandom as part of a united front, as part of the Docking Bay collective.
