According to Cate Bryant, Click Monday Spokesperson, Click Monday is one of the biggest online sales days in New Zealand, it is very similar to cyber monday deals 2015. As the name suggests, it’s based on Cyber Monday deals organized every year in the United States. The official website is a centralized website. It showcases offers and brands from retailers in New Zealand belonging to many different categories. Users can easily find an offer on the website, and click through to the Kiwi retailer’s website to buy the product.

The first event was organized in November 2013. At this time, over 80 retailers joined in, and made hundreds of special deals, like best cyber monday deals 2015 and offers to customers. According to statistics, customers clicked over 300,000 times on the website to visit the retailers’ websites. The special offers were a major hit. Retailers were able to make 4-5 times their usual daily sales. This was considered an exceptional success for the event.

According to Cate Bryant, Click Monday will be organized twice. After 15th September, it will be organized on 24th November. Many well established Kiwi retailers have already signed up for both dates, with there main deals likely to be based around Cyber Monday TV deals, especially in 2015, which you can view here to keep up with these deals on the day. Moreover, new retailers are signing up on a daily basis. Online and radio advertising kicks off later this week. Consumers are being encouraged to sign up early, and win cash draws. Cate also stated that the company is expecting the customer database to almost double this year.

Click Monday, which is also becoming popular like Cyber Monday UK has successfully partnered with New Zealand Post and Retail NZ to support this event. Retail NZ is helping promote the event to members, while the New Zealand Post is offering a 20% discount customized to SMEs using the online Parcel Rewards loyalty scheme. Click Monday is delighted that a broad spectrum of advertising channels are showing interest in the event. The company aims to achieve much better results this year.

Globally, events like these have become very important to attract more customers for online sales. Last year in China, a similar sales event was able to earn over $5.75 billion in sales. Click Monday, and Cyber Monday UK 2015, aimed at the UK public, aims to achieve the same for Kiwi retailers. The company hopes that generating more awareness about online shopping offers will help retailers find opportunities that lie beyond the country’s borders.
